Patty Zariello IFBB Figure Pro

Patty Zariello is one the the most disiplined and hardest working women I know. No surprise she earned her PRO card at the 2012 Team Universe show on July 8, 2012. I asked her to share with our readers what keeps her motivated. Read below for more

My family motivates me to live a healthy lifestyle. We have a history of health problems in my family including heart disease and diabetes, which can be avoided by taking better care of our bodies by eating right and exercising. It hurts to see loved ones suffer especially knowing that there is something they can do to help themselves. I want to be able to live life to the fullest, to be able to enjoy an active lifestyle with my kids for as long as I can, and to set an example for them. I’m also motivated by my awesome husband who always supports me.

As far as what motivates me to complete I would say that comes from within. There’s something inside of me that just pushes me to work harder. I love the feeling I get from setting a goal and going after it with all I got! I have a very competitive side of me that feeds off the challenge. The more impossible it seems the more I need to find a way to do it. I absolutely fell in love with this sport and I’m having so much fun. I truly just enjoy it so much that it doesn’t take much to motivate me. I just want to become better and better at it! I also want to help others. I enjoy giving support and encouraging others (especially other moms). It inspires ME even more when someone tells me that I inspired them or helped them in any way. To receive letters of thanks or being recognized by other women with the same dreams is an amazing feeling! I love the feeling of making someone else happy.

Brittany Tacy – IFBB Bikini Pro

Could you please tell our readers a bit more about yourself?

Brittany Tacy IFBB Pro

I’m 23 years old born and raised in Florida and a part time college student.

I started competing 2 years ago and I became an IFBB Bikini Pro last July at NPC USA’s…which was a dream come true! I knew I had to take FIRST in my height class to earn my pro card and the thought of standing out amongst almost 40 girls to take 1st seemed almost impossible!

After I won, I jumped right into the Pro circuit. I made my pro debut at the Ft Lauderdale Cup and competed in two other pro shows to finish up the season. I was named’s “Best New Pro of the Year” for 2011 and I can’t tell you how much of an honor that is! To be chosen out of all the new IFBB Pros, not just in Bikini, is a huge deal to me.

I’m also proud to say I’ve been a CytoSport sponsored athlete since April of 2011 and I love being apart of such an amazing company. I’ve been using their products for almost a year now, and I’m hooked! My favorites are Monster Pump and Monster Amino as my pre-workout stack, Cookies n Creme Monster Milk, and Chocolate Mint CytoGainer!

Aside from competing and working out, I love just hanging around my house and watching movies. I’m perfectly content with staying in on my nights off.  I enjoy being lazy sometimes! I have a 3-year-old American Bulldog, Jensyn, who is my world…I absolutely adore him 🙂

What are your plans for 2012 as a new IFBB Pro?

I’m just about a month away from starting prep for my first show of the season and my goal is to qualify for the 2012 Bikini Olympia. With the new rules you have to win 1st at a show to qualify, which makes it much harder, but I’m determined to be on that stage!

What competitions have you competed in?

Too many to name but I’ve done 6 shows as an amateur and 3 as a Pro already. I plan on competing 3-4 times this season.
